Between the hills of Lajatico and Volterra, our hives rest on certified organic fields where bees, flying over our land’s flowers, give us our organic honey.

Protected by the beekeeper’s suit, you will be able to experience firsthand the exciting life cycle of our bees, discover the secrets of the honey processing method, and appreciate its wonderful flavor in a delicious tasting.

Visit to the beehives

With this experience, guided by our beekeeper, you can visit the beehives in the neighborhood of Organic Agriturismo Diacceroni. You will be protected by a beekeeper suite and you can taste small bites of honey directly from the honeycomb (when available). You can enjoy this magical experience also with your children.

During this activity you will meet our beekeeper and producer of our organic honey from three generations. He will accompany you and tell you particularities and anecdotes in Italian and English about the history of the bees and the world of honey.

At the arrival at Organic Agriturismo Diacceroni you will be warm welcomed by our experienced beekeeper who will introduce you in the world of bees and he will hand you over a beekeeper suite. During this experience you will learn more about the history of the bees, their life cycle, traditional method of our honey and you will have the possibility to taste small bites of honey directly from the honeycomb. Truffle hunting with little bites

During this experience, with our guide, the truffle expert and his trained dogs, you will make the acquintenance with truffle hunting in the woods that surrounds Organic Agriturismo Diacceroni. You can learn how to distinguish the right truffles and you can taste them as we serve them prepared in little bites, accompanied by the best wine of Diacceroni.

During the trip you will meet our truffle expert (certified since 2008 by the Tuscan Region) he will accompany you and will tell you, in Italian and English about things worth knowing and anecdotes about the world of truffle and about the training of the dogs.

At the arrival at Organic Agriturismo Diacceroni you will be welcomed by our truffle expert and his trained dogs. After a good explanation about the world of truffle and after introducing his dogs, they will accompany you during the tour. You will learn about the tecniques how to look for the truffels and how to distiguish these precious jewels as the first person. When you arrive again at Organic Agriturismo Diacceroni we will serve you little bites based on the found truffles during the day, accompanied by the best wine of Diacceroni.

From olives to oil: tasting with lunch or dinner

This experience takes you on a gastronomic journey through traditional dishes, selected to enhance the intense and spicy flavor of our organic extra virgin olive oil.

During lunch or dinner you can interact with our chefs who will show you, in Italian and English, all the secrets and curiosities of organic extra virgin olive oil: how our green gold is born, its methods of craftsmanship, and its use in traditional Tuscan cuisine.

Upon arrival you will be welcomed at the restaurant “La Cantina” at Agriturismo Diacceroni, the ideal setting to enjoy the menu of dishes selected to enhance the intense and spicy flavor of our oil, in the splendid panoramic setting the overlooks the hills of Volterra.

From olives to oil: harvesting and tasting

This experience, which occurs from October to December, takes you to our olive grove where you can hand-pick olives with us and enjoy the taste of our organic extra virgin olive oil.

During this experience you will interact with our expert guide who will show you, in Italian and English, all the secrets and curiosities of our organic extra virgin olive oil: how our green gold is born, the methods of craftsmanship, and its use in traditional Tuscan cuisine.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by our guide who will accompany you in our olive grove, where you can follow our tradition by hand-picking the olives. At the end of the experience, small samples will allow you to savour the intense and spicy flavor of our oil.

Excursion to Volterra, city of alabaster
